This unique nationwide and certified quality standard for especially beautiful hiking accommodations was brought into life by Deutscher Wanderverband (German Hiking Association). In Taunus, the land of mountains, castles and spas, this quality standard was awarded to our hotel after a thorough inspection by the Taunus Touristik Service GmbH.

Schmitten, located close to the most popular hiking region in the Taunus - the Großer Feldberg - and at the start of the Weiltalweg, is suited perfectly as the starting point for your one-day hikes.
